FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I become a client?

Contact me for an initial phone consultation where we can discuss the things that you would like to bring to the therapeutic process and the services that I provide.  From there we can set up an appointment for you to come in for your first session.  You can also click on the Forms tab at the top of the page and fill out the new client information form and the informed consent form to save time in your first session.

What are your hours?

All of my sessions are by appointment only, and I have a wide range of times that I am available to ensure the maximum level of convenience.  Contact me for more information.

How long is a session?

A typical individual therapy session is 50 minutes long.  Couples/Family/Group sessions are 60 minutes and are pro-rated if additional time is needed.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Contact me via telephone or email to schedule an appointment.

What is your fee?

Contact me to inquire about current rates for individual and couples sessions.  I do maintain a number of client slots at my discretion for reduced fee.  Ask about availability.  If I do not currently have availability, I may be able to offer you a referral to another therapist that can make further accommodations.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept any insurance, however, I will provide you with information at the end of each session that will make it easier for you to file a claim directly with your insurance company for reimbursement according to the terms of your policy.

What if I need medication?

I do not prescribe any medication, but I will make a referral to a psychiatrist or other medical service provider for medication management purposes.

How do I make a referral?

Referrals are accepted and appreciated.  If you would like to refer someone to me, please contact me or have the individual contact me directly via telephone or email to set up an initial phone consultation.
