Introducing a Continuing Education offering for Therapists, Clergy, Public Health Workers, and Medical Professionals:
Sexuality Attitude Reassessment (SAR)
Atlanta, GA November 9-10, 2017
**ONLY 6 SPOTS LEFT**
Significant anxiety remains in today’s society about sexuality issues. With high anxiety, it can be difficult for clients and therapists alike to think clearly, problem solve creatively, and act in one’s own best interests. The result has been that we have created cultures based on sexual ignorance, sexual secretiveness and sexual trauma.
About: The Sexuality Attitude Reassessment (SAR) program is one of the quickest, most effective ways to help people lower their anxiety and creatively reassess their attitudes and values around sexual issues. Using explicit films, small group discussion, and mini knowledge building sessions to facilitate the process, the SAR produces greater comfort and educability for therapists who wish to enhance their skill and ability in working with clients’ sexuality concerns.
Facilitators: Erika Pluhar, PhD, EdS, LMFT, LPC and Christian Thrasher, MA
Both facilitators are certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
Continuing Education: This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 10 AASECT CE Credits. These CE Credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.
The SAR is also APPROVED for 9.25 CE hours with the Georgia Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (GAMFT).
